Documentary on the JL Bourg's Hopes, favourites of the 2024-2025 season championship. Winners of Trophy of the Future in 2024, will they make the back-to-back in 2025? The team is completely recomposed following multiple departures but the talent remained in Bourg-en-Bresse.
Process
Even if the professional team and events « corporate » are my priority, it was impossible to not take the opportunity: to create a memory of invaluable value for all while highlighting our Youth Team. So I followed the Youth Team more this season.

The stars were aligned: getting organized the Trophy of the Future 2025 in Bourg-en-Bresse and an ultra talented team. Throughout the season, I captured their games and interviewed them by adjusting to the events (injury, victories, defeats, future deadlines, etc.). To do that ? Adaptation and feeling things.

Jacquette of the documentary
It wasn't the first time I ever made a documentary. My first was in the 2022/2023 season with the professional team during the Leaders Cup. But this is the first time I've made a documentary over such a long period. We had to keep going because this documentary was secondary to my workload. Discipline and questioning were my key words for this documentary to be consistent from beginning to end.
At the beginning of the season, I started out in a frame by cutting the season into several parts. Depending on the events: wounds, defeats / victories or other hazards, I shaped episodes and interviews. Being flexible in the face of events, it left me the free field to tell the story. Which is simpler than creating it.
« Last season, we won the Trophy of the Future. So to change, it would be to be French Champion. »
